Dished heads pressed in Serbia

Dished heads are the formed ends of tanks, pressure vessels, boilers, silos and road tankers. We press them on a 400 t SBFM Bison 5030.

How the forming works

Forming runs in two stages. A circular blank is pressed progressively into a spherical crown on the 400 t press.

A manipulator keeps deformation even across the surface. The material does not thin locally, which matters for pressure work.

The flanging machine then forms the knuckle radius and the straight flange. Cold flanging preserves wall thickness and leaves a consistent surface.

Why order dished heads in Serbia

Our subsidiary Tehnoproces builds tanks, pressure vessels and boilers. It uses these heads in its own production.

That is the plainest guarantee we can give. The geometry is right, the wall thickness is even, and the flange welds without adjustment.

Shells to match are formed on our plate rolling machine. Certified welding closes the vessel in the same works.
